All systems go for UTSA as it heads to the American Athletic Conference. Higher profile. Much more lucrative. Sexier opponents. Better road trips. Better television exposure. Bigger media markets.
The AAC is by far the best of the so-called “Group of Five” conferences, so much so that it is now touting itself as a “Power Six” league. That’s not much of a stretch. This is a big-time conference, and UTSA is becoming a big-time athletic program.
The Roadrunners are one of six current Conference USA schools headed to the AAC, with membership commencing no later than July of 2024.
My Rice Owls? They’re gonna need to step it up. No excuses.
It’s not that Case Keenum earned my respect Thursday night in filling in ably for Baker Mayfield. Keenum has always had my respect. He is a very “professional” professional football player. He may now be a busier one. Mayfield’s torn labrum and shoulder fracture makes his return uncertain.
After opening the season with three straight wins, the Broncos have now dropped four in a row. Adios in the AFC West race.
But you got nothing to crow about, Chiefs. You’re 3-3. Your defense stinks. Your run defense stinks out loud. You play the Titans Sunday. Perhaps you’ve heard of Derrick Henry.
Dear Astros. Please wrap it up tonight. This stuff is hard on me.

Having read this I believed it was rather enlightening. I appreciate you spending some time and
effort to put this short article together. I
once again find myself spending way too much time both reading and posting comments.
But so what, it was still worth it!
Thank you for reading and responding!
